Bangkok, 28 October 2015: Audio specialist Sennheiser has launched the latest generation of its compact, fold-flat HD 200 series headphones. Updating the popular HD218i, HD 219s, HD 219, HD 229 models, the new headphones feature fresh new styling and great sound. They are the perfect, take-anywhere companion for enjoying music on mobile devices. The closed-back on-ear HD 221 and HD 231 combine the audio specialist’s characteristic balance of fine audio quality and reliable, durable design, with elegant contemporary looks for a more stylish mid-sized headphone.
Powered by neodymium magnets, the HD 221 and HD 231 deliver excellent
stereo sound and powerful bass, with the higher performing drivers on the
HD 231 delivering even more intense, exceptional bass. The closed-back, compact on-ear designs offer excellent comfort and insulation from external ambient noise, for an enjoyable sound experience whether at home or on the move. Both headphones feature soft ear pads that enhance comfort for even long periods of use, while premium chrome detailing on the earcups turn up the style.
The new headphones are optimised for use with portable music devices, with
compact, fold-flat designs making them easy to take anywhere and durable,
single-sided cables for tangle-free freedom of movement. The HD 231 also features an inline remote and microphone that makes answering or ending of calls and controlling music playback on a smart device effortless. Two variants are available for Android (HD 231G) and Apple iOS devices (HD 231i).
