Emerson Network Power Supports the New Industrial Revolution for Southeast Asia Facilities
Bangkok, — Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and the world’s leading provider of critical infrastructure for information and communications technology systems, today unveiled the launch of its Industrial Insights roadshow, an exclusive forum specificially designed for organizations in the light and heavy industrial markets. This forum seeks to empower and equip enterprises with the latest technologies and solutions amid the evolving industrial market.
The first stop of this year’s Industrial Insights roadshow will be in Rayong, Thailand on April 27 targeting enterprises in the manufacturing and energy sector. Industry experts from Emerson Network Power will share strategies to future-proof all facility areas, addressing the challenges such as overall power availability, safety and efficiency.
Heightened reliance on automation and digitization in the oil and gas sector has pushed the need for a new Industrial Revolution for companies, one that focuses on efficiency and availability to ultimately maximise productivity and profitability. On the other end, the emerging trend of Smart Manufacturing harnesses digital technology to produce computer-driven facilities that positively impact productivity and quality, enable worker and product safety and improve overall workplace operations.
“As more companies rely on technology to increase their competitive advantage, facility managers must focus on building a robust IT infrastructure and ensuring process continuity. With the discussions on breakthrough trends and technologies at the Industrial Insights Roadshow, we hope to impact our customers’ operational strategies and achieve critical process continuity for their facilities,” said Etienne Guerou, vice president, industrial vertical, Emerson Network Power in Asia.
A key highlight of this event is the launch of Emerson Network Power’s full range of Chloride Industrial UPS systems, including marine certified UPS Chloride CP-40Z, as well as upstream and downstream UPS systems, Chloride CP-60Z, and Chloride CP-70Z. Chloride UPS systems incorporate a rugged design which is suitable for heavy duty applications and features a life span of 20 to 40 years.
Service capabilities which are essential to extending the life expectancy and increasing availability of facilities’ high value assets will also be introduced. This includes preventive maintenance functions such as repair, shutdown and turnaround and servicing. With a worldwide network of service professionals, access to OEM parts and design engineering resources, enterprises can rely on Emerson Network Power for 24/7 support.
Speaking on the upcoming Industrial Insights roadshow event, Etienne adds “Emerson Network Power has been providing solutions to the industrial sector for 40 years and this is a great opportunity for us to share our expertise to the local industry. With the limitations brought about by the volatile global economy, we urge operators to integrate technological advances that can increase production volumes with less investment and ensure uptime of critical IT assets that support digitization.”
The Industrial Insights roadshow will also be staged in Manila, Hanoi, Jakarta and Karachi in the coming months.
