#fame beams the spotlight on International Music Day 2016

Bangkok, Thailand – on June 21, 2016, #fame will be bringing the 34th International Music Day to the #fame community with a special day-long music marathon. International Music Day is a celebration of music, with events in over 120 countries and 700 cities around the world and #fame plans to beam live performances from its talented community for everyone to enjoy.

#fame has worked together with some of its brightest musical talents, composers, singer songwriters and more, who will each play a 30 minute to one-hour set in which they will pay homage to their musical idols. These musical beams have been put together by each artist to include songs or pieces of music that have great significance to them in their own personal musical journey. Performers include some well loved musicians such as, DJ Nubtung, Mit Mitchai, Ann Mitchai, Nick Kunatip, Jayda Saranya; Nookzii and Skykikijung from One9Stand. These Thai superstars will form part of the all-day line up together with other local and international talents.

As well as the musical mania, #fame will also host a music trivia game live alongside performers. Users will be able to answer questions based on the current live talent. Questions could be anything from secret knowledge of the star playing to a general knowledge question about the musical genre or even about the specific song they are playing at that time.

All performers will include #intlmusicday in their beam title along with the music composer, lyricist and/or singers names they are paying tribute to. The schedule will be announced on #fame’s social media channels and individual performers will be announcing their involvement and encouraging fans to use the tag #intlmusicday.
