NTT Communications Launches Myanmar Yangon Kamayut Data Center
Yangon, Myanmar, June 2, 2017 — NTT Communications Corporation, the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group (TYO: 9432), announced today that NTT Communications (Thailand) Co., Ltd. start providing the Myanmar Yangon Kamayut Data Center, NTT Com’s first data center in Yangon, Myanmar.
The data center is 300-sqare meter wide and can facilitate up to 90 server racks. It is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including redundant power systems, enabling NTT Com to offer 99.995% service level agreements (SLAs) to meet the interconnection and colocation demands of large enterprises, financial institutions and government agencies.
NTT Com operates the data center based on its extensive experience with data security system consulting and design.
The Myanmar Yangon Kamayut Data Center is located in central Yangon, less than 9 kilometers from Yangon International Airport and just eight kilometers from downtown.

The Myanmar Yangon Kamayut Data Center has Tier III certification and offers seven-steps security to ensure full protection of customer data. Its 99.995% service-level agreements (SLAs) are backed by redundant power systems and direct connection to NTT Com’s global network. The facility’s N+1 air conditioning system controls temperature and humidity with modulation, allowing the system to operate even when damaged or malfunctioning.
A network operation center (NOC) where operators monitor the data center’s hardware and other resources is running 24/7.
The Myanmar Yangon Kamayut Data Center is network neutral and customers are able to connect with preferred carriers. NTTCom’s Digi-path internet service is also available for direct connection with NTT Com’s robust VPN and NTTCom will provide Arcstar Universal One (Global MPLS Network) as well.
