Grab Introduces ‘My Destination’ Feature to Help Driver-Partners Maximize their Earnings while Getting Closer to Home
Bangkok – 23th April 2018 – Grab driver-partners now have a chance to maximise their earnings while travelling towards their desired destinations, for example, home. Thanks to Grab’s introduction of ‘My Destination’, an in-app feature that matches drivers with passengers heading the same way.
On the Grab driver app, driver-partners can now simply tap on the ‘My Destination’ menu button at the top left-hand corner of the app and set their preferred destination, the app will then filter and receive travel requests to only pick-up and drop-off points within 5km radius along the way towards the selected destination.
Apart from facilitating Grab full-time driver-partners to continue making income while they are heading back home or any preferred destinations, this feature also allows any vehicle owners to maximize their earning potential and reduce expense while travelling to routine destinations like office on working days or favorite hangouts during weekends. By registering to become Grab driver-partner and turn on My Destination feature to pick up passenger, they will have a chance to earn more, reduce the cost of driving as well as making a new connection. The use of ‘My Destination’ feature is limited to twice a day and while setting it on, it will match up to five trips a day along the way towards preferred destinations. The feature is now available on Grab driver app nationwide.
‘My Destination’ is part of Grab’s ‘Better 365’ campaign designed to make it easier for our driver-partners to drive for Grab 365 days of the year through a series of enhanced technology features and welfare benefits. With ‘My Destination’, drivers no longer need to worry about driving home in an empty car, or get their acceptance rates and cancellations rates affected by jobs that are out of the way.
