NTT Com Releases EDR
For Advanced Security Threat Management
Bangkok: February 4, 2019 – NTT Communications (Thailand) Co., Ltd (NTT Com), the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group (TYO: 9432), launches Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), an advanced cyber security solution for enterprises. The solution comes with artificial intelligence (AI) technology for predictive analytics by working with Big Data to detect suspicious behavior and precisely pinpoint the system’s vulnerability. The solution can also work with other anti-virus software.
Mr. Sanit Kashemsanta Na Ayudhaya, Vice President of Product & Service Department of NTT Communications (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said today, cyber threats from viruses and malware come in various forms and the attack patterns are now more complicated and difficult to detect. So organizations and business enterprises need to have an efficient tool to help monitor and protect their IT system.
He said that NTT Com is now offering Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), an advanced cyber security solution for enterprises. The solution comes with AI technology to work with Big Data management system for real-time monitoring to detect patterns or Digital DNA of viruses and malware as well as analyze suspicious behavior that is vulnerable to be attacked.
Once EDR detects vulnerability, the system will immediately alert system administrator who can set protection levels; to receive just notification or to clean up viruses and malware as soon as they are detected. The system will also show attack report and search for the source of viruses and malware while pinpoint the system’s vulnerability precisely.
Additionally, EDR can recognize and learn new patterns and behavior of threats and update attack patterns of virus and malware from around the world. The solution is suitable for businesses at all sizes in cross industries.
Running on either Windows or Mac operating system, EDR can work with customer’s existing anti-virus software. One license of EDR will be used for one customer’s endpoint in the spec of 2-core CPU with 2 GB of RAM in minimum. The service is provided in annual basis with training.
